Our third seminar will take place on March 9, and our guests will be two British colleagues. Stephen Boyd Davis will talk about "The eye of history: pioneering depictions of historical time" and Eric Kindel about "Recording knowledge : Christiaan Huygens and the invention of stencil duplicating." We intend in the afternoon to take our guests and colleagues to the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Arc-et-Senans : the saltworks designed by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, dear to my heart as an eighteenth-century specialist. Le troisième séminaire aura lieu le 9 mars et nous accueillerons deux collègues britanniques. Stephen Boyd Davis parlera des représentations du temps et Eric Kindel d'une machine conçue par Huygens qui est à l'origine des inventions du stencil. Nous avons l'intention d'emmener nos invités et collègues au site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO à Arc-et-Senans dans l'après-midi, la saline de l'architecte Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, chère à mon coeur de dix-huitiémiste!
