ON THE SPOT/SUR LE VIF

"Sur le vif" - "on the spot", or "in action" - is the title of a conference dedicated to anthropological drawings and photographs from 1900 to 1950. It is organised by Camille Joseph and Anaïs Mauuarin. It will be held on April 8th, in Paris, at the salle Vasari of the Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art.There will be talks in French and in English,  The photographic contributions of Marcel Mauss, Marcel Griaule and HenryBalfour among others will be discussed. "Sur le vif" est le titre d'une journée d'étude dédiée à la photographie et au dessin anthropologique de 1900 à 1950. Organisée par Camille Joseph et Anaïs Mauurin, cette journée se tiendra le 8 avril prochain à Paris, salle Vasari de l'Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art.
