Stephen Boyd Davis has obligingly put a post on our seminar on March 9th on his own blog (link to the left), with a nice picture of the corners of rue Chabot-Charny and rue de l'école de droit, since he wants to see a rare book available in the municipal library here. His blog is of course dedicated to timelines and chronologies, and relays information on books and work in this field. It is full of fascinating information, I especially liked the posts on eighteenth-century authors of course, such as Priestley, natural timelines (tree rings, for example) and the one on the concept of "ungleichzeitigkeit". There are discussions of both modern and ancient timelines, and abundant illustrations.

Je lui rends donc la pareille avec beaucoup de plaisir (lien à gauche). Son blog qu'il a commencé en 2009 est dédié aux représentations de temps, bien évidemment, et relaie des informations importantes sur les travaux et les publications dans ce domaine. Il est plein d'informations fascinantes, j'ai particulièrement aimé les articles portant sur les auteurs du dix-huitième siècle, dont Priestley, et sur les chronographies naturelles (comme les anneaux de croissance des arbres), ainsi que l'article sur le concept d' "ungleichzeitigkeit". Ce blog porte aussi bien sur des représentations modernes qu'anciennes, et il est abondamment illustré.
